This video was shot just once with 2 simultaneous cameras and a Zoom Q2N recorder, improvising with instruments such as guitar, handpan Annaziska C#, shruti box, percussion, chimes, bells, natural sounds and the Voice. I am also using Boss RC202 for loops and effects, Freeze by Electroharmonix, Delay by TC Electronics and Analog Tremolo & Reverb pedal by Strymon, as I wish to recreate long, sustained sounds from the guitar. The "Life of a Rose" is a song dedicated to Mary Magdalene. It was channeled by Marlia Coeur inspired by the red heart spot she found one day in Tegalalang area in Bali, Indonesia. She is live looping with her #godin guitar and #boss #RC202 #electroharmonix #tcelectronics #freeze guitar effects pedals and recording live with #recorder Zoom H6. Everything is powered by a power bank (no electricity socket in the middle of Bali jungle!) She is wearing an in-ear piece because there is no speaker, this is the only way she can hear the effex pedals, the voice's reverb and the loop station to be able to sync along. "Life of a Rose" is the first channelled song/prayer of a new series of in-situ improvisations (part of Marlia's Earth Gridding New Earth project).
