Synchronising music and percussion with handpan performance has never been easier than with this handpan mix by Marlia Coeur! In this mix, you'll hear the Icelandic song "Enas magkas ston Votaniko" combined with the Bjork song "Virus". Both tracks are played on Marlia's handpan, creating an amazing mix of Icelandic and Icelandic-inspired music. The "Life of a Rose" is a song dedicated to Mary Magdalene. It was channeled by Marlia Coeur inspired by the red heart spot she found one day in Tegalalang area in Bali, Indonesia. She is live looping with her #godin guitar and #boss #RC202 #electroharmonix #tcelectronics #freeze guitar effects pedals and recording live with #recorder Zoom H6. Everything is powered by a power bank (no electricity socket in the middle of Bali jungle!) She is wearing an in-ear piece because there is no speaker, this is the only way she can hear the effex pedals, the voice's reverb and the loop station to be able to sync along. "Life of a Rose" is the first channelled song/prayer of a new series of in-situ improvisations (part of Marlia's Earth Gridding New Earth project).
