Hookpad is a DAW program that shows the creator what chord they are using. This program could be used in conjunction with music theory courses to allow students real application of the material learned.

A free software that allows the user to make a groove up to four parts. Once the groove is made it can be shared on the web or the midi can be downloaded and used in other programs.

This resource is a web-based program which can generate polyrhythms. The graphics help visualize the rhythms in a pleasing and logical way. Specific polyrhythms can be generated in many layers, or random ones may also be generated within specific parameters. This might be used as an enrichment tool for aural skills courses.

Similar to text messages, push notifications are great for sending parents and students timely and relevant information, whether their app is running in the background or inactive. Push notifications are free for both student and teacher.
