This podcast takes a look at the fun way in which mathematics can be used in the classroom. It also poses some situations in which students must look at solving problems from a new perspective.

GeoGebra is a dynamic mathematics software for schools that joins geometry, algebra and calculus. It is an interactive geometry system where you can do constructions with points, vectors, segments, lines, conic sections as well as functions and change them dynamically afterwards. In addition, equations and coordinates can be entered directly. GeoGebra has the ability to deal with variables for numbers, vectors and points, finds derivatives and integrals of functions and offers commands like Root or Extremum. These two views are characteristic of GeoGebra: an expression in the algebra window corresponds to an object in the geometry window and vice versa.

The goal is to discuss the mathematics behind many real life topics in a way that even the worst mathphobe will gain some insight.
