If Lenny gets his dad into the family plot, per the Will's direction, he can collect his inheritance. The journey swiftly produces events that shift us into a world rife with Mayo memories. Two distinctly embedded American cultures collide. GET SHE WATER shows how one unlikely command, devised by a dead man supposedly bent on settling some old score, may actually exact unlikely friendships out of that simple order, and lead to something more valuable than any of them considered before taking the old man, and his big trip, on.
