SUVs for long had been the mean vehicles of the rich class during the end of 90s and early 2000s. Today we have compact SUVs and luxury class SUVs offered at prices which are much lower than what used to be few years ago. Most of these vehicles have also succeeded in the market making SUVs popular among the masses.

In the last few years, India has registered significant growth in the segment of SUVs. From compact to high end SUVs, everything is selling in good numbers.

Now, when Renault has prominently established itself in our Indian car market with their compact SUV, Duster, they are now targeting the premium SUV buyers in India with their Facelifted Renault Koleos.

After long wait, Ford finally rolled out its most hyped compact SUV EcoSport in June, 2013. Owing to its outstanding looks, great build quality, performance and not to forget the highly competitive price tag, this new kid from Ford has brought in a wave of hope amidst tough market conditions in the country.

The Tata Safari is a mid-sized, 5 door SUV that has been around for a long time. It has undergone numerous revisions to keep it in contention, especially in the light of hard rivalry. However, the Safari still manages to impress with its ability to ferry people in the comfort of its cavernous interior and also its fine off roading performance.
