If energy (or God) is the origin of all reality or existence, then how did God (or energy) come to be?

Some may say that the question is too big for our little heads. Others may assert that the question is blasphemy or sacrilegious. I on the other hand just want to get to the crux of the matter. How is it that things came to be?

My solution is in the nothingness theory. There is nothing and everything comes from nothing. Thus nothing is everything and everything is nothing. Hence, we exist.
