    PostGIS adds support for geographic objects to the PostgreSQL object-relational database. In effect, PostGIS "spatially enables" the PostgreSQL server, allowing it to be used as a backend spatial database for geographic information systems (GIS), much like ESRI's SDE or Oracle's Spatial extension.

    It's current state is very similar to Google Maps, but would allow us to fully utilize the bike layer. This would be a great selling point for MTS as they have the ability to transport bikes as part of the transit system.

    I was thinking http://schema.org/WebPage, http://schema.org/WebPageElement, and http://schema.org/CollegeOrUniversity ~ for our smbl files, http://schema.org/Event ~ for calendar/events , http://schema.org/GeoCoordinates ~ for the map, and maybe even making some recommendations for specific entities on campus like the theater ~ http://schema.org/TheaterGroup, which could benefit from event, but also an identity.
