MathsNet Interactive Geometry: 3D - 0 views

  •
This website provides challenges where students have to replicate specific 2D images on a 3D platform. For the spatially challenged, such as myself, this is not as simple of a task as it first seems! I particularly love this site because it easily lends itself to small-group collaboration, trial and error discussions and problem solving -- all skills for our 21st century learners. Put it on the SMART Board, and work through together as a class, or make the SMART Board a 'center' with this one Geometry activity for one group of 3-5 students to tackle, while other small groups work on additional geometry challenges around the room (traditional pen and paper Math problems, building 3D models, etc.)

Debategraph home - 0 views

Debategraph provides a powerful way for geographically distributed groups to collaborate in real-time in thinking through complex issues. It does so by enabling groups of any size to externalise, visualize, question, and evaluate all of the considerations that anyone thinks might be relevant to the issues at hand - and by facilitating an intelligent, constructive dialogue around those issues. Whether the group is a small team, an organization, a network of organizations, or society as a whole, the ability to augment our individual capacity to choose wisely in the face of the complex, multi-dimensional problems we confront today is ever more pressing.

Teacher Resources: Quizinator for Teachers, Instructors, and HomeSchoolers - 0 views

  •
Worksheets, study sheets, exams, and quizzes are basically collections of questions and answers, arranged in some particular order, and grouped by one or more categories. Quizinator acts as a online resource library that organizes and manages these collections of questions, allowing you to group and categorize them in whatever way suits your needs. When you want to create a new exam for example, select from your question library what you want, arrange the questions with drag and drop, and save. Everything is conveniently centralized online. You can manage and print your documents and library components anytime, from any browser.

Group Name Change - 0 views

I've decided to change the name of this group. I have started to add teachers from other levels/buildings and I wanted the name to accurately reflect this group.
