    1. http://www.workfamilyresource.org/
    2. This website is a private non-profit organization that provides the resources for working parents to find child care or other needs such as babysitters, classes and listing of community events. They essentially are coordinators that allow those looking for childcare a place to search for the needed care. Additionally, the organization rates the providers so those looking can trust their assessment of the services that are out there. The major categories are searching the database, a calendar offering continuing education services, news and events, "the nanny connection", and listing of other services available to the local community.
    3. The intended audience are working parents or parents needing childcare services. The clues defining the audience is the intro page with a photo of smiling children with it titled, "Work Family Resource Center...promote quality child care in our community". Consistently there is a running header with the logo, "workfamily resource center". I see this title enforcing the intent that they are there to assist with families who work. The materials are accessible to the general public and anyone can access and decipher the information.
    4. As I reviewed the site I find it legitamite however, I don't see the validity of the services that they are providing. They acquire funding through grants and other charitable means therefore there is no cost to the working parent/consumer. However, I don't see the necessity of the services because those looking for childcare will go into their local community and ask other parents for referrals and will visit and make their own determination of what childcare is best for them. Additionally, the continuing education calendar is nice to have collected however it is not that they are providing the services but rather it is a listing of activities within the community that others are providing. Personally, I'd rather see the money that the government is providing to the organization used in other ways. Such as to provide funding for those that can't afford daycare. Interesting they don't have any advertisements or other means to raise money but rather they simply have a "support us" where they are soliciting for donations.
    5. After reviewing this site I have learned that there are those that feel they need assistance in finding adequate daycare for children. I personally don't feel comfortable trusting a website to determine the best daycare for my kids. I do see this as a tool however, I don't believe that it would prove more valuable than asking friends and family for referrals, visiting and personally determining the best daycare.
