The Children's Defense Fund (CDF) is a non-profit child advocacy organization is working on policies and programs that lift children out of poverty; protect them from abuse and neglect; and ensure their access to health care, quality education and a moral and spiritual foundation. Their mission statement is The Children's Defense Fund Leave No Child Behind® mission is to ensure every child a Healthy Start, a Head Start, a Fair Start, a Safe Start and a Moral Start in life and successful passage to adulthood with the help of caring families and communities. This website is for individuals who want to make a difference in children's lives, as well as, protecting future generation kids that these kids will have. I made this assumption because it is mostly informational that has no objective ideas throughout the articles. Information is presented in concise easy to read formats. That really pulls the advocate out of every person who visits this site.
I would also say that this site is credible because of the well known and credible foundations that have co-signed this foundation. A few of the foundation that have donated $100,000 or more include W.K. Kellogg, The Rockefeller group and Ben & Jerry's Foundation to name a few. also, that fact that the site does not try to hide financial reports for the company. They ask you to donate, but don't shove it on you and make you feel guilty if you do not.
This site relates to our class in the fact that not all children have equal access to opportunities that every American is entitled to. For instance, on the opening page they are celebrating that children with pre existing conditions cannot be turned down for care. They strive to early childhood education and having a voice for the little tykes who cannot fight and dispute policies like grownups can. This site was very informative and insightful and I think everyone who plans to have kids or has nieces and/or nephews should check this site out and learn a few things about the discrepancies in children's lives.

The Center for Work-Life Policy (CWLP), a non-profit organization based in New York, has emerged as a thought leader in diversity and talent management, driving ground breaking research and seeding programs and practices that attract, retain and accelerate the new streams of talent around the world. The site focuses on identifying, developing and promoting a second generation of corporate policies and practices that support the ambition, work and life needs of highly qualified talent across the divides of gender, generation and culture. The major categories that were covered had mostly to do with women and breaking through the glass ceiling that have been in place for thousands of years.
As I state above, the target audience for the website is woman of all ethnic background and leveling the field for pay, as well as, better job opportunities. What lead to believe this is that the opening page had numerous articles about woman here and afar. For instance, one article was named "Women in emerging markets", while another one was "top talent in China". However, the material is accessible to most people, at least with some form of education that wants to know about the struggles of working people and the perils they face when working for companies.
I would have to say it's credible to a point because of the numerous reputable sponsors of the sites. The information is not free in most cases. If I wanted to learn and read up on a specific subject I may have to purchase a manuscript to read up on it. I would not think that this site is concerned with the distribution of this information because the site is a virtual market place to buy material. It only gave snippets of articles and then a link to purchase the rest of the material.
It is very relatable to our class because it has articles about the gender bias throughout the working world and how woman have a glass ceiling to break through. I did find a snippet of an article on the research and publications link that was about the 70 most dangerous jobs out there, as well as, an article about working 70 hour work weeks
