Corporate Voices for Working Families: A Unique Voice Bridging Business and Policy to Shape the Competitiveness of the Workplace and Workforce. It is a business membership organization representing the private sector. The following is a sampling of a few of the companies that support Corporate Voices: Allstate Insurance Company, AOL, Ford Motor Company Fund, IBM, Johnson & Johnson, Office Depot, Inc. and Verizon Wireless. Founded in 2001, Corporate Voices' goal is to engage the business community in social issues involving working families.

Four key areas are focused on:

Workforce Readiness, Afterschool and Early Childhood Education
    Work and Family Balance
    Workplace Flexibility
    Family Economic Stability

Publications and Toolkits are available for these four topics.

The News and Events section offers up-to-date information on related topics. The latest topic in the Press Release section is dated April 21, 2011.

In the 2008-2009 Report to Partner and Funders, mention is made of First Lady Michelle Obama attending the annual meeting in May and the Corporate Voice's continuing relationship with the Obama administration. Michelle Obama is quoted: "Through [Corporate Voices] work, the private sector, government, and other key stakeholders can have a real dialogue based on facts, find common ground and then develop innovative policies that can help employees manage their work and family obligations".

Corporate Voices appears to be a transparent and credible organization, supported and funded by the business community and endorsed by the Obama administration. [Corporate Voices']
