Have look at the unlinked / linked reference system in Roam

Scoble's musing are as always interesting. He also provides a 'future signal' by referring to a patent by Apple for a wearable which potentially could warn you have COVID-19 or other diseases before you even have any obvious physical symptoms.

I really think RoamResearch has some unique features and pulls it all together in a new way. Maybe that bidirectional links (subject of this video) are not unique, but the way they use unlinked references and play with the sidebar is pretty amazin.
