The Stapleless Book is a web tool provided by ReadWriteThink and enables students to create short printed books of approximately 6 to 8 pages. The process is dead simple. Students open up Staples Book tool, type in a title for their book and proceed to constructing their pages. For each page they have the option to choose from different layouts. Once they are done writing up their book they can print out the pages and easily fold them into a neat book. This video shows you how to do the folding part.

Finding books that kids will like can be a difficult task. Literature Map is a tool that might make that process easier. Literature Map provides a web of authors you might like based on authors that you already enjoy reading. To use Literature Map just type an author's name into the search box and webbed list of authors will be displayed. The authors' names closest to the author whose name you entered are the authors whose work you're most likely to enjoy.

Parapara Animation is a free animation creation tool developed and hosted by Mozilla. The tool is easy to use and it does not require registration in order to use it. To get started simply visit the Parapara Animation website, select a digital crayon, then start drawing. Click the large "+" icon in the top of the screen to add a new frame to your animation. You can playback your frames at any time in the creation process. When you're done making your animation it will be assigned a unique URL that can be shared via email. A QR code for your animation will also be generated for you.

Online Rubric is a Google Spreadsheets Add-on that enables to you create rubrics, enter scores, and email scores to students all from one place. Online Rubric provides very clear instructions for each step of the processes of creating a roster sheet, creating a rubric, and emailing grades to students.

For those who haven't heard of Canva prior to this post, it is a service that makes it easy to create beautiful slides, flyers, posters, infographics, and photo collages. Creating these graphics on Canva is a drag-and-drop process. Start by selecting a template then dragging and dropping into place background designs, pictures, clip art, and text boxes. Canva offers a huge library of clip art and photographs to use in your designs. You can also upload your own images to use in your graphics. Your completed Canva projects can be downloaded as PDF and PNG files. You can also simply link to your online graphic.

Pixiclip is an excellent free web tool that provides users with a canvas where they can draw, sketch, narrate, and record their creations. This is an ideal whiteboard tool that you can use with your students to record explanations of processes or to create tutorials for flipped classroom materials.

Cite Bite is a simple tool for creating a direct link to a passage of text on a webpage. It's a simple process to create a direct link to a quote using Cite Bite. To use the service just copy and paste the chunk of text you want to share into Cite Bite. Then copy and paste the url of the source into Cite Bite. Cite Bite then creates a url that you can share with others to send them directly to the quote you want them to read.

Google Docs Quick Create is a Chrome extension that allows you to quickly create Google documents, spreadsheets, presentations, forms, and drawings with one click. Instead of going to your Drive, clicking on "new" and selecting a service you want to use ( which is quite a process), Google Doc Quick Create provides you with a simple and time-saving shortcut.
