A great search engine, made by a teacher that is a visual search engine!!! Has so many different tools included in it!

The web provides limitless opportunities for learning, creating, sharing, and exploring the depths of human knowledge. But it is also an unsafe arena where one needs to be equipped with the needed tools and know-how to better stay safe and browse the net securely. As parents and teachers, we need to teach our students about the basics of staying safe online and luckily there are several resources to help you do that. Google Safety Centre is one of the best of them.

inklewriter is a free tool designed to allow anyone to write and publish interactive stories. It's perfect for writers who want to try out interactivity, but also for teachers and students looking to mix computer skills and creative writing.

Formative is an online assessment tool that lets teachers set up questions which run on any device with a web browser (iPads, smartphones, laptops, iPod Touches, etc.)

ForAllRubrics is another cool web tool for easily creating rubrics, checklists, and badges. The site provides a wide variety of interesting features for teachers including: the ability to score across different mobile devices, issue digital badges with evidence, view the status of your whole class at a glance, access assessment results on ForAllRubrics website, one click sharing of assessment results by email with students and parents and many more.
