Slack, a math teacher here in Maine. On Slackmath you will find dozens of PDFs of algebra problems (Geoffrey told me has plans for other subjects in the future). Each PDF contains QR codes next to the mathematics problems. After students complete the math problem they scan the QR code to check their answers and find a video explanation of how to solve the problem. Watch the explanatory video below to see this is in action.

Webtool with standard polling and feedback features. Another neat response option in Mentimeter is the word cloud response. This lets you create an open-ended question for your students to respond to. Their responses are displayed as a word cloud on your screen. Mentimeter includes a profanity filter to preserve a classroom-friendly environment. Again, students join this activity by using a class code or by scanning a QR code.

Parapara Animation is a free animation creation tool developed and hosted by Mozilla. The tool is easy to use and it does not require registration in order to use it. To get started simply visit the Parapara Animation website, select a digital crayon, then start drawing. Click the large "+" icon in the top of the screen to add a new frame to your animation. You can playback your frames at any time in the creation process. When you're done making your animation it will be assigned a unique URL that can be shared via email. A QR code for your animation will also be generated for you.
