We are at the mid-point of the year and we are tracking the top 20 most selling albums of 2013. Nielson SoundScan has been doing this top 20 countdown for 22 years now and they recently released the top 20 chart for the besting selling albums in the first half of the year.

Dj Drama and Lil Wayne are expected to drop "Dedication 5" in the upcoming months according to reports. Dj Drama revealed last month that he and Lil Wayne are planning to release a 5th mixtaped, continuing the "Dedication" series. Both Drama and Lil Wayne have already started recording the new mixtaped. According to Drama, "Dedication 5" will be closely associated to the first three mixtapes of the series.

The number one top charting song, "Blurred Lines," is back in the news again, all for the wrong reasons though. The hit song by Robin Thicke, T.I., and Pharrell, has been criticized since the video first came out. All three artist have took hits for the deemed "Sexist" music video. Now, critics are calling out the director of the music video, Diana Martel. Even with all the negative exposure, "Blurred Lines," holds the number one spot on the Billboard Top 100. The music video is questionable, but all the exposure has made the song a huge hit.
