My thesis is that, "Why the Mayans are a mystery culture". My Defenses that Mayans are the most mysteries is that they had another life. Also that when they were attacked by the second time they were attacked they disappeared. Another defense could be that they found a new safer better place than earth or just Mexico. I say that they had another life because there was some stuff from them found but not them.

Also I think that maybe they live in another world. I say that they had another life because they have found bones under caves with water in a page I found, "Mexican archaeologists have discovered a maze of stone temples in underground caves, some submerged in water and containing human bones" by http://articles.latimes.com/2008/aug/16/science/sci-mayan16. They also found there objects that they had and they found all of them in sink holes. Scientist also think that Mayans found a new and better world to live in because the Mayans are one of they mysterious culture. They say they live in another world because the second time they were attacked they weren't there they knew they were going to be attacked so they disappear. It look as though they disappeared in thin air it self. Another reason they are mysterious is people say they lived there time because they did sacrifice. People think they are extinct because there population wasn't much and they did a lot of sacrifices. These are only have of the reasons I think Mayans are the most mysterious culture. They are so mysterious that a lot of people didn't even know they existed. My opinion is that the Mayans lived in a new world and we will never know were they are.
  Also what makes them so mysterious is that they just disappeared.
  They disappeared when they were attacked. The second time they were they disappeared no one knows how but they just disappeared in thin air. That is why I say they are a mystery and a mystery we will never solve. These two cycles together formed a 52-year "century," sometimes called the "calendar round". They also said that the Mayans believed that there were 4 world and 3 have been destroyed and said we are the 5. We also have found missing pieces of them. None has ever seen or got information from a Mayan. The first world that was destroyed Egypt's second Greeks third Romans and last was us. The Mayans said that it wasn't the end of the world but it only means that the world is going to be new.
  They are also a mystery because people say that they had contact with aliens. Also when they disappeared people said that they went with the alien that is why the Mayans are the most mysterious culture. Also what makes me think that scientist think is that because both of them are a real mystery. They also say they left earth and went with the aliens because both of those cultures has been said that knew more than us. For example how did they make their pyramids so straight? There is also said that the Mayans have communications with the aliens. I imagine it by being the Mayans on top of the pyramid and the aliens could communicate with them. Also what makes us have that thought is that both aliens and Mayans have little to no more evidence.
  Scientist have said that they had less technology but were smarter because how did they make their stuff so straight. Not even our straightest building was as straight as there less straight stuff.
  These are my three details why I think Mayans are the most mysterious culture. Why do people think they don't exist if we have proof?
