Assunta Krehl on 29 Sep 11As stated by Alastair Harris-Cartwright "Dr. Andrei Yudin, Professor, Department of Chemistry, University of Toronto, has developed a new and effective process that makes linear peptides circular, which allows these molecules, called macrocycles, to enter cells more effectively and increase their stability compared to linear peptides." The Ontario Genomics Institute (OGI) a MaRS Tenant has invested in this project. The project is also supported by MaRS Innovation that is assisting to convert this "great science into commercial opportunities."
