Hey guys, I'm an INTJ Software Developer, I worked for 3 years in Algeria before getting an offer in Belgium, when I got the offer I had no idea about salaries in Belgium so I accepted it as it is without negociation. A year ago I moved to Belgium and I was surprised that my salary was equal to someone with 1 year of experience and I don't have many benefits like people from europe, for example: they don't pay my internet or health insurance and I was not allowed to take extra days off, I did not complain back then but things escalated that some colleagues treated me bad and they were so rude just because I am from Africa and I'm a girl in IT sector. I tried to get over their racism but what happened is that management stopped me from doing my job as I should. Like I'm a software developer and it's rarely when I do development sometimes I become a data entry. After a year I felt like I forgot most of the things I learned since years and if I want to change this shitty job I'll have to prepare for interviews again :( I was so good that I never prepared for a software development course interview and soon I'll have my appraisal, so I do not know if I should mention all this shit that got me depressed and affected my physical health as well (knowing that my manager doesn't care because he's not so techy :( I even code better than him) and therefore ask for the salary and benefits that I deserve just like other people in the company, or just quit and keep it all to me, or stay in the company and accept their terms till I find another job to keep my papers because without a job I will have to go back to my country which is a step backward.
