High Bill, But I Know It's Wrong - 4 views

    I recently received my utility bill, and to my surprise, it's significantly higher than usual. I've checked my usage and there's no way I could have used that much electricity/water/gas. I'm positive there's been some kind of mistake.

    Has anyone else experienced a similar situation? How did you handle it?

    I've been in a similar situation before. The first step I would recommend is to contact customer service at your utility company, for example, find ladwp contact here https://ladwp.pissedconsumer.com/review.html. Explain the situation calmly and provide any evidence you have to support your claim, like previous bills or usage records. They should be able to investigate the issue and hopefully resolve it for you.
