Can any American whose had the Athens protocol / CXL + TPRK out of the country help answer questions - 4 views

  Or if anybody has had the procedure in general, could really use some advice..
  
  Was diagnosed with KTC in September, and my good eye is starting to worsen with double vision. I'd like to do whatever I can to fix my vision without needing to wear the hard contact lenses.
  
  Right now I am looking at PLEC in Vancouver and hope to get at least one eye done this summer.
  
  Some of my questions are:
  the american school of protocol
  How much did it cost out of pocket? How hard was it to get scheduled? What was recovery like and flying home after? Any noticeable vision improvement?
