PHI 208 is a very important subject which is offered in almost all universities all over the country. The meaning of PHI is philosophy. The main topic of this subject is Ethics and Moral Reasoning. Now we can say why to study philosophy, but what we all don't realise that most of us have our views which are very strongly influenced by philosophy. Now many people would say that this is not true but just tell me, once you start discussing any topic like politics, religion, science, culture or even media, anywhere, whatever we speak and think is effected by philosophy and by historical inputs. We all like to give historical and philosophical inputs in favour of our view. The various week wise topics covered in this subject are: What is philosophy, for the first week. After that you have 'Justifying Beliefs' for the next week. Then you have Ethics and Relativism, after that Animal Rights. In the third week you have 'The limits of Scepticism' and 'Truth and the limits of Knowledge'. Then in the fourth week we have 'Proof of god's Existence' and 'The Turing Test'. In the last week of this course you have 'The meaning of Life' and 'Philosophy and Society'. After you have covered all these topics, then you have to face your PHI 208 Final Exam . It is very important to make sure that you cover all the above tropics in detail and have clear and specific views on these topics as the examiners like to see what your views are on a particular topic and if your views are original and logical, then you are sure to score good in your final exams. So in the end, students need to make sure that they have a good grasp on the topics and that they give their PHI 208 Final Exam with a clear mind.
