    In LEG 500 ENTIRE COURSE the main objective is to evaluate and examine the legal environment and the ethical challenges of organizations and management. The aim of this course is to foster an ethical working environment, providing effective leadership, enhancing the corporate accountability and ensuring legal compliances of an organization. This course is designed mainly to make the students analyse the impact of the management decisions and corporate governance on the ability of the firm to meet its obligations made to the stakeholders. This course examines key elements of the effective corporate governance. Image

    In the very first week of this course the two topics which are discussed are "duty to rescue and ethics" and "corporate governance and social responsibility". In this the students are required to analyse the arguments for and against imposition of the legal duty to rescue. In the second week the topics of discussion which are included in the course are "freedom of speech" and "employment at will and whistle-blowers". Similarly the topics which are discussed in the third and fourth week are "employee surveillance", "privacy" and "the civil rights of 1964". The fifth week course mainly deals with the topics "health and safety at workplace" and "safety concerns in the global economy". Environmental responsibility and habitat and property rights are the two topics which are covered in the sixth week of the course. Similarly in the rest four weeks topics related to same course are completed. The LEG 500 ENTIRE COURSE also contains several assignments for each week and a number of exams also.
