I used to do Batik at a summer camp and still love the way it looks. I would love to organize a library program where teens could do Batik paintings on fabrics. http://makeprojects.com/Project/Chic-Batik/1215/1

Batik is where you take wax and paint with it on a fabric, then dye or paint on the fabric. The wax blocks the dye or paint and creates a really cool look.
