It's obvious from comments all over Social Media there are a lot of folks disappointed by this but many of the discussions have degenerated into name calling and accusations of greed towards Adobe. There's also a LOT of misinformation about what the Cloud is and is not.
With WeVideo, you simply upload your video clips and photos, create your storylines, and edit them in the cloud. Oh, that "cloud thing", it means the delivery of computing as a service rather than a product. For you that means there's no software to download. All video story creation takes place in the browser on your smartphone, tablet, or computer.
The problem...is that either way you look at it, the subscription model is expensive...and that is the reason why Adobe has been asking customers their opinion about the Creative Cloud pricing.

Lets stop complaining about "Ownership," ... many of us are asking the wrong questions and making assumptions without understanding the bigger picture.
