New Delhi: Bangladeshis visa free issue - The Union home ministry has shot down the ministry of External Affairs proposals to ease restrictions on the arrival and movement of Bangladeshi nationals in the country.

SG Mohan Parasaran has in an opinion submitted to the Union government told, the AAP government in Delhi had no power to file an FIR alleging collusion between officials of the Central government and Reliance Industries Limited. However, Solicitor General Mohan Parasaran suggests the Union government move court to quash it instead of leaving the issue to Delhi's lieutenant governor to deal with it.

Karunanidhi against Hindi - In recent Union Home Ministry order directing bureaucrats to use Hindi for tweeting and posting comments in social media, DMK president Karunanidhi told, it would be deemed as a 'first step towards relegating non-Hindi speaking people to second-class citizen status'.

Prakash Javadekar inspection - On Monday, officials at the I&B ministry were in for a rude shock when union minister for information and broadcasting Prakash Javadekar was seen waiting for them in the office corridor. Prakash Javadekar arrived at his Shastri Bhawan office at 9am, and instead of moving to his chamber, barged into the rooms of officers.

Mumbai: Prakash Javadekar, Union minister for environment and information & broadcasting told, the new government believed in coexistence of environment and development, and not in 'environment versus development'. Prakash Javadekar told, the proposals for a coastal road and a bridge across Mithi river in the city will be taken up on a priority by his ministry.
