    Thunderstorm steamrolled Ahmedabad - A wicked thunderstorm steamrolled the city for 25 minutes, claiming at least five people dead. Krishnakanth Kushwar, 14, and Ramdas Kushwar, 24, died when a tree fell over the auto rickshaw they were travelling in Amraiwadi. A 50-year-old man was crushed to death under a falling wall in Isanpur. In Sola, one person was electrocuted, while another died in a road accident.

    Chile Tsunami alert - The powerful 8.2-magnitude earthquake has struck off the coast of northern Chile on Tuesday night, forcing a massive evacuation along the Chile's long coastline. According to reports, at least two people have died. The first waves of a tsunami hit several cities along the coast, which extends 2,653 miles.
