Student invention, creation, and social network site. Allows students to tackle simple everyday problems with whimsical solutions by giving them a way to share their drawings and reward them for creative ideas.
Site with lots of simple interactives from a variety of subject areas. Science and Math interactives are mostly for secondary students, but some Language Arts and History interactives are for younger students. The Technology Integration Matrix (TIM) illustrates how teachers can use technology to enhance learning for K-12 students. The TIM incorporates five interdependent characteristics of meaningful learning environments: active, collaborative, constructive, authentic, and goal directed (Jonassen, Howland, Moore, & Marra, 2003).
