"These Math packets were created to align with the Everyday Math Curriculum used during the school year to provide additonal practice during the summer. Each week consists of six problems that review, maintain and deepen the skills and concepts learned in the six strands of mathematics: Operations and Computation, Numeration, Patterns, Functions and Algebra, Data & Chance, Measurement & Reference Frames, and Geometry."
Site with lots of simple interactives from a variety of subject areas. Science and Math interactives are mostly for secondary students, but some Language Arts and History interactives are for younger students. These would be good for introductions to a unit/lesson or serve as a simple diognostic or review to check for understanding midway through a lesson.
A simple site that allows you to view common everyday objects at their actual size. Simply input the size of your monitor in inches in the upper right hand corner, and the site will do its best to display objects that you search for at actual size. Great for use in classrooms to compare objects that aren't allowed in schools (video games, cell phones, etc.), or larger objects like pizzas, steering wheels, or money.
