For education, FB or a site like FB would be like one stop shopping at Wal Mart. Announcements, pictures, email, video, games.
I prefer getting and sending messages in my FB mail than having to go to my yahoo mail and for posting videos than using my youtube account- I can do several things in one place. It is a lot easier to post pictures on FB then to send through email, especially a large group of pictures.
