Virtual tour of Smithsonian - National Museum of Natural History

This is excellent! It may not be perfect yet, but it's as close as I've seen for collaborative writing assignments. Make sure you watch the tour video to get a sense of how it works. They will be making more enhancements for education (no student emails required, better reports, etc) soon. Even as it is, it's great, I believe. This may be the PERFECT tool forthe AUP assignment that appears to be floundering. ;-)

A nice site for History Tours in Google Earth

The curriculum is designed to be interactive, discussion filled and allow students to learn through hands-on and scenario activities. Each workshop contains a resource booklet for both educators and students that can be downloaded in PDF form, presentations to accompany the lesson and animated videos to help frame the conversation.

Digital planner - keeps track of homework assignments. This is something I want to give my students. Homework assignments/upcoming test dates can be texted into the website. The website will also send cell phone messages reminding students of upcoming assignments.
