If you're not familiar with Second life, check out this intro from CBS news from a few years ago. Yes, it's cool, but after you get past the wow factor, do you think it offers anything for teachers?

Wow! It looks like it may be fun to create a possible fantasy world. I do worry about kids and I guess some adults getting to wrapped up in it to be able to separate it from the "real" world! Interesting report.
