"The poetry was written in Mrs. Hockenbrocht's Language Arts class. Students were asked to illustrate their poetry using images, text, and audio. They were to use and cite copyright friendly images and needed to include at least one video. They needed to use a variety of apps to create the media for this project. When done with their chapter, I uploaded each book from Book Creator to Dropbox. I then downloaded each book onto one device and used the merge feature in Book Creator to combine each chapter into one anthology."

In order to send images, movies, and documents as an attachment, email must be set up on the device. Logging in through web-based mail won't work because you cannot attach files when using web mail in iOS. Email has to be set up in iOS's Mail app in order for an app that shares through email to actually be able to send.... ...The answer I've seen many schools use is Gmail. They set up free Gmail accounts for their devices. These email accounts aren't for receiving emails--they are used so that iPads and iPods can send. Without an email set up in the Mail app, no messages can be sent from the Mail app or any other app that shares via email.

I'd like to provide you with just a few examples of the many uses of iTunes U in the hopes that more schools will join this incredible network of learning resources.

As an eLearning leader, I get a lot of questions like 'how do I guarantee the students are on-task?', or 'how do I make sure they don't play games?', or 'how do I make sure I can maintain their attention when I need it?'. Reality is, these devices can be very distracting to adults even, let alone school-aged kids and teens. I have gathered a bunch of tricks throughout my teaching experience that I would like to share:
