Here is an example of a website a teacher is using for reading "The Devil's Arithmetic". I have saved it as a skeleton for planning student websites. If you use Google sites, you can also include student discussion boards, shared Google Docs, etc.

It has resources broken down by grade level, then subject, then GLE. Some of the sites are older but I've found some that have Ipad apps so it appears to be somewhat current. Enjoy!

Moving at the Speed of Creativity - Use Appointment Slots on a Google Calendar - 0 views

  •
Interesting way to use Google Calendar. You can share an appointment with a guest so they don't need access to Google, but to see the entire page of appointments available you have to have a Google account. This would be great for scheduling PT Conferences, but with the need to have a Google account, I'm not sure that is realistic to think all parents will have an account. I can see students signing up for study sessions, etc.
