Normal pc program: languages online- Victorian Ed dept. site. http://www.education.vic.gov.au/languagesonline/default.htm 8 different languages covered, great for beginners and high school classes - fab interactives, games, drills, printable sheets etc links well with classroom teaching and especially if teacher is away I-pads: Tap roulette: get for picking who goes first in a class (~dojo or class dodger) Tellagami: create your own 'avatar', customise background, make avatar move, record voice-over - use i-capture to put 'Tellagami's' together - save in 'photo app' and then create 'i-movie' Yakit kids:take photos of people, add character bits to photos (mouths, eyes etc), the make conversation between your created characters, save to a 'camera roll', stick them all together in a 'you-tube' capture. Linelearnerlite: record dialogue/conversation, then edit and change order, or mute one dialogue or some of dialogue - students need to place in correct order, share each others; or just record dialogue as independent practise Book creature or Photocard: both great for creative writing, collages, making books, include hyperlinks (good for pc's too)
