The mission of Global Learn conferences and events is to further the advancement and innovation in learning and technology. As the educational world becomes increasingly global, new ways to explore, learn, and share knowledge are needed. 28 Global Learn serves as a means to connect and engage creative educators, researchers, consultants, training managers, curriculum developers, and others in the topics and fields in which they are passionate about.

The Open Education Global Conference is the annual opportunity for researchers, practitioners, policy makers and educators to deeply explore open education and its impact on global education. Conference participants will hear from thought leaders in open education and have the opportunity to share ideas, practices and discuss issues important to the future of education worldwide.  Sessions cover new developments in open education, research results, innovative technology, policy development and implementation, and practical solutions to challenges facing education around the world. The theme for Open Education Global 2015 is Entrepreneurship and Innovation, emphasizing the exciting directions and developments in open education around the world.

This conference is designed to provide an international forum to explore lessons, challenges and possibilities related to the provision of technology-enhanced learning in a rapidly changing global context. Of particular interest are research and practice that enhance access, engagement and outcomes for students at all levels, who are learning to use educational technology in their practice.

This is the 7th annual conference on blended learning sponsored by COHERE (Collaboration for Online Higher Education & Research) and CSSHE (Canadian Society for the Study of Higher Education). It will feature an opening keynote address by Dr. Cable Green, Director of Global Learning @Creative Commons, and on the second day of the conference, David Porter, Executive Director, BCcampus, will bring his perspectives of the conference, followed by a panel discussion.  The conference will close with plenary comments from Dr. Tony Bates.

The 2016 International Conference on Learning, Teaching, and Student Success (ICLTSS'16), being held November 3-5, 2016 on the campus of Montana State University, is a global gathering of professionals committed to engaging in a broad discussion of "student success." As the conference theme suggests, ICLTSS organizers encourage the view that student success is everyone's business and the journey from kindergarten to career is a path inhabited by a wide variety of community stakeholders.

Online learning is one of the most talked about and fastest growing sectors in higher education and corporate training today. The Sloan-C International Conference on Online Learning is the premier global gathering covering this field.

Our conference is inspired by the concept of sustainability and titled "living to learn, living for life." For us, this theme encompasses living in an economically, physically, and culturally sustainable way and integrating sustained learning throughout. We are particularly eager to show you how environmental and educational sustainability connect in CBU's Verschuren Centre for Sustainability in Energy and the Environment, one of Canada's most sustainable university labs. We have invited two distinguished keynote speakers: Rex Murphy, who many will know as a CBC personality known for his word-smithing and lifelong passion for teaching; and Richard Gerver, who is inspiring teachers globally with his work on educational transformation.

The role of the educator has transformed. No longer mere conveyors of static information, teachers are increasingly entrusted with the responsibility to foster and develop life skills in students. Fostering global citizenship calls for the development of leadership skills, which may be especially challenging to cultivate in online learning environments. Transformation of learning experiences opens new opportunities for transforming the lives of life-long learners and leaders.

The 2015 National Forum on Active Learning Classrooms (NF-ALC) at the University of Minnesota focuses on advancing practice and research on active learning classroom spaces. The NF-ALC will feature new session formats (see the Submission Guidelines) designed to provide opportunities for participants to demonstrate innovative practices and research that leverage the advantages of technology-enhanced learning spaces and active learning pedagogies. Our expectation is that participants from a wide variety of institutions will attend the NF-ALC to a) examine common issues affecting the effective use of these spaces and chart a path for their resolution; b) share successful practices that have enriched the student and faculty experience in active learning classrooms; and c) build and deepen networks with colleagues in order to advance their campus efforts. The forum is framed by the alignment between the use of new learning spaces and achieving the academic priorities of many universities and colleges, such as increased retention, improved graduation rates, student engagement, emerging technologies, and global learning. Since these priorities are of broad interest to all working in higher education, international participation is most welcome.

In 2017, you won't be able to have a dialogue about higher education without discussing, in part, online learning. It's one of the fastest growing sectors in education today, and as the pace of growth accelerates, we'd like to invite you to OLC Accelerate, the premier global gathering covering this field. We chose the name OLC Accelerate because this conference is devoted to driving quality online learning, advancing best practice guidance and accelerating innovation in learning for academic leaders, educators, administrators, online learning professionals and organizations around the world.

The Symposium will occur over three days (April 7-9, 2013) and include a combination of workshops, plenaries, panel presentations, concurrent and poster sessions, and roundtable discussions. Ben Wildavsky, author of The Great Brain Race, will be the plenary speaker. A number of presidents/rectors of international universities will participate in panel and follow-up breakout discussions on current and future higher education issues in their home institutions and nations and meet with Symposium participants.
