TED: Ideas worth spreading - 0 views

  •
Great site for finding and sharing innovative ideas in different fields. The movies would probably be more conducive to middle or high school students because the speakers sometimes speak more quickly or use more technical language.
  •
Some ingenious current ideas from masters of all kinds of different fields. Give it a try, would be great for middle and high school levels. I found a sculptor who makes kinetic artwork run by wind and capable of "surviving" on the coast of Holland!

AMAZING!!!!! You do not want to miss out on this resource. An online conference was held called Library 2.0 and all of the sessions were recorded. I challenge you to watch/listen to just one of these presentations and share that knowledge with your colleagues. Topics are ALL over the place, not just related to the library.

website that allows students to make online books. Students can add their own text and choose from a plethora of backgrounds. Seems geared towards younger kids but maybe it could be manipulated for high school students.
  •
I'll use this with my 5 year old he loves making stories up to read cna you print these?

Interesting... seems like it'd take a little time to set up. Maybe for AP kids to quiz each other?
