Autonomedia - 0 views

Autonomedia is an autonomous zone for arts radicals in both old and new media. We publish books on radical media, politics and the arts that seek to transcend party lines, bottom lines and straight lines. We also maintain the Interactivist Info Exchange, an online forum for discourse and debate on themes relevant to the books we publish.

Labadie Collection | MLibrary - 0 views

  •
The Joseph A. Labadie Collection is the oldest research collection of radical history in the United States, documenting a wide variety of international social protest movements of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. It is named for anarchist and labor organizer Joseph Antoine Labadie (1850-1933). Use of the Labadie Collection is open to all researchers, although special conditions govern the use of manuscript materials and researchers are urged to write or call ahead. Cataloged books, serials, pamphlets, and archival collections may be found in the University Library's on-line catalog, Mirlyn. A listing of some other materials can be found on the menu to the left. Duplication services are available, subject to the condition of the material and copyright or donor restrictions.

Economies of the commons - 1 views

  • Economies of the Commons (eCommons) believe that technology brings fundamental change to the way cultural heritage institutes work and the expectations their audiences have of them. Institutes are no longer the exclusive ‘holders and curators of culture’ while their audiences have become accustomed to their active roles as co-producers of culture––they want to create, curate and co-produce cultural artefacts. Through Economies of the Commons 3: Sustainable Futures for Digital Archives we encourage re-thinking and re-imagining and create a platform to discuss the challenges and future of archives.
