Interesting to take the test and see what approach one takes - also of note is that most people learn visually rather than verbally.

This Is Water - 2 views

Just in response to Larry's presentation some weeks ago, this is the full text of the speech he was talking about. The whole speech, which Wallace gave to a graduating class at Kenyon College in 2005, is about engagement, and reconsidering how we engage with the world. I think Larry's use of the This Is Water anecdote is really interesting in relation to the changing role of technology. I did my PhD thesis on Wallace's work, and he had a really interesting relationship with technology and engagement. Just thought I'd post the speech for people's reference - more inspiration/aspiration than practical application, perhaps!

Inspiration is always appreciated - thank you:-)

I've had a few students coming to my office hours recently who have found this on their own and wanted to know if I thought it was a good resource. I must look into it a bit more, but it's great to see that students are finding the same things we are!
