This would be a great tool for whole class writing. The art work is beautiful. Great for teaching writing prompts. May work well for those students who need support to get ideas about writing.

This is a great site! It's visual, beautiful and engaging. I agree with you Kate, this would be a great way to teach writing and get kids to jump into writing. I love the idea of incorporating art into writing.

Great for use with all learners. Would be good to use the comprehension one to guide students through a retell. Printable. Students could bring home to share. Being able to add information would help those who need clues or reminders to help with a retell. Good for learners of all levels. May need help gluing and folding cube after print out.

Online book creator. Can be created by adults or kids later in the year. Can be recorded to read a loud. Might be good us for children that need to have information presented to them in a different way numerous times. I am thinking like the expectations of the room in a story for students to listen to and refer to. May be able to have students create drawings so it becomes a class project.

I like that this is so simple. I think it will work great to not only copy and paste text, but also to have text typed directly into the program. I can see kids using this to hear their writing and listen to others writing. Can't wait to try it with kiddos. I can see this being used with all kinds of learners for different purposes. Computer voice says words with more than one syllable funny. May help when teaching kids about syllables.
