Group interested in the effect/potential new and emerging technologies are having on the delivery of legal services and on traditional legal education in the U.S. and abroad. Representative subjects of interest include, but are not limited to: the growing use of social media by lawyers as well as consumers to research, organize, and maintain information and connections with information sources; technology and privacy; cybersecurity issues; virtual legal environments and use of virtual classrooms; the changing face of the legal academy; the rise of the paralegal profession, the paralegal's role as technology manager/expert for today's law firms; and the future of the legal profession in general. While this group is open to anyone interested in the topics, please refrain from making this group a rant and rave group.
