Back in November 2008 I published Part 1 of a series of articles intended to explore the use of WebCams in education. I have now finally got round to writing Part 2 which is a collection of 20 activities EFL ESL teachers can do with their students.
Today's activity is about talking about your city and the things you love, and was inspired by a YouTube video that tells a short love story. The Story is set in Beirut in Lebanon and tells the story of how two young people meet and fall in and out of love. The video though is also a tribute to the city that they both love and the things that they like about it.
The webcam can be a vital tool in helping to support our students' pronunciation habits and helping them to 'see' how words and expressions are pronounced and what particular pronunciation features they need to be aware of. So here are a few tips and examples to help you use your webcam to help with your students' pronunciation.
