When I'm not dressing up with my pocket protector in my eMathGuy uniform, I'm more commonly referred to as Bill Doherty. I've been teaching for 30 (gasp!) years, the past 11 of those at a high performing Northern California public high school, where I teach math and serve as the school's Technology Coordinator. I've always enjoyed finding creative ways to bring the beauty of the mathematical world to students, and my work in technology has enabled me to dabble with lots of cool tools that help my own students communicate math more effectively.

Within the growing TED-Ed video library, you will find carefully curated educational videos, many of which represent collaborations between talented educators and animators nominated through the TED-Ed platform. This platform also allows users to take any useful educational video, not just TED's, and easily create a customized lesson around the video. Users can distribute the lessons, publicly or privately, and track their impact on the world, a class, or an individual student.
