Facebook has announced their new app, Rooms, a service completely separate from the social network that brings back the format of message boards. Only this time, it is done for a mobile platform.

Earlier this week, Google conducted a press event where they showed off their new Android upgrade, their Nexus 7 tablet and the already sold-out Chromecast. But that last one isn't the only step into living room entertainment the company has taken.

Believe it or not Facebook, the social network launched in a college dorm room six years ago, reached 1 Billion users this year. Almost everybody now has a FB account they say.

It appears that the first place to formally offer up the Galaxy Nexus for sale is Phones4u in the UK, complete with shipping date of November 16th. For those of you who are unaware of the world of Android, this Galaxy Nexus device is Google's next hero device, the one to run their next-level mobile operating system Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. This device was introduced earlier this month in Hong Kong, China to throngs of ravenous online viewers and a room full of publishers snapping their cameras furiously."
