RIM is planning to release the latest version of Playbook OS codenamed Blackberry Playbook OS 2.0 on February 21, according to the report from BGR

RIM, after getting some unexpected reviews and massive competition for its first tablet, now has launched the latest version of Playbook OS called "Blackberry Playbook 2.0" for its tablet.

Staples is planning to offer the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet for $199 on upcoming Black Friday (November 25) in the United States, report says.

"It's been a bad year for Research in Motion (RIM), makers of the BlackBerry series of smartphones, and it's just been compounded by the news that a truckload of 5,200 BlackBerry PlayBook tablets have literally been stolen off the back of a lorry - You just couldn't make it up."

"As promised, Research in Motion has provided a more detailed view of its long-awaited PlayBook OS 2.0 software, including the excellent news that it'll definitely be coming next month."

BlackBerry Smartphone and tablet manufacturer, RIM has promised that the Blackberry Playbook tablet's services, software and hardware will repeatedly to be supported by the company.

Rovio Entertainment, the biggest successor of its world's most popular game for mobile platform, the Angry Birds, now has launched an edition of Angry Birds for Blackberry Playbook tablet.

Latest detail hints that Research In Motion is going to introduce first Blackberry 10 handset and latest Playbook tablet in 2012.

"Last year will be one to forget for RIM, but judging by the latest news, the company behind the BlackBerry range of phones and tablets obviously wants to get 2012 started off in a more positive way."
