After receiving huge success from the Droid RAZR Verizon edition, Motorola is now planning to announce Medfield smartphone at MWC event this month, according to the news source

LG is scheduling to launch an Intel Medfield Android gadget at the CES 2012. The company has planned to introduce its upcoming device at the Consumer Electronics Show, which will begin on January 10, 2012, a report suggested.

"Intel has told its investors that the first Medfield powered smartphone will launch later this week. The news was revealed during an earnings call with the company's CEO Paul Otellini, but he didn't elaborate any further on what, where or exactly when the phone would be revealed."

"Intel has made further strides into the mobile market at CES, announcing not only the very first smartphone to be based on their new Medfield platform, but a partnership with Motorola too."

The newest web leak indicates that both tech giant, Acer and Lenovo will be introducing Microsoft Windows 8 based tablet PCs by the end of Q3 2012, a report suggested.
