"Google's dominance in mobile advertising and Apple's growing iAd platform on iOS convinced Samsung to launch its own rival advertising platform called "Samsung AdHub Market." The Wall Street Journal reported the company officially announced the platform on Tuesday, which uses technology from OpenX Technologies Inc. According to the report, the company will allow advertisers to buy space within apps through developers and Samsung. The ads are expected to appear on Samsung phones and tablets sometime in last half of the year."

The Android version of Samsung ChatOn app is now available on the Android App Marketplace but several reports say that a number of Smartphone holders had difficulty authorizing the app since it was unveiled on Friday.

Facebook Home, the social network leader's higher than just app, which converts choicest devices into majorly Facebook phones, is out on Google Play Store for no cost at all.Facebook Home opened the doors on Friday for users of the Samsung Galaxy S III, Samsung Galaxy Note II, HTC One X and HTC One X+. A HTC First handset launched recently for public at $99.99 also has Facebook Home loaded.
