After the launch of Samsung Galaxy Nexus Prime integrated with Android 4.0 ICS, a number of current Galaxy S II and Galaxy Note holders are also demanding for latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich update to their devices.

Samsung, the South Korean mobile manufacture, has unveiled that according to the decision of the firm, the Galaxy Tab and the Galaxy S will not get an update of latest version of Android mobile OS code named Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.

Lately as per a report from New York Times, it came out that the Korean manufacturer's highly expected Samsung Galaxy S IV will be having smart features.

"On Friday Samsung announced on one of its Korean promotional blogs that it wouldn't be bringing Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) to its Galaxy S smartphone or its 7-inch Galaxy Tab."

"Samsung tweeted the news it would be upgrading the Galaxy S II to Ice Cream Sandwich back in November but didn't offer any indication of when it would appear. Since then, it's not been clear whether the S II would be the only Samsung device to see Android 4.0, or if the company was still evaluating the Galaxy range."

After receiving the Ice Cream Sandwich update for Nexus S, Samsung has announced that the GSM version of the Galaxy Nexus will be receiving the Android 4.0.2 ICS update as soon as possible.
