Phone calls and web hits flood lawmakers on Capitol Hill

Two men were gunned down outside of an AT&T store across the street from Irving Mall on Sunday afternoon. The shooting at 2701 Belt Line Road happened as the two men and a woman were leaving the store. Officer John Argumaniz, an Irving police spokesman, said calls to 911 started coming in at 2:21 p.m. "When officers got here, two males were suffering from gunshot wounds," he said. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, his body lying next to a tan Chevy Suburban, not far from shattered glass. A second man was pronounced dead at Parkland Memorial Hospital. No one else was injured.
